Sensory Issues in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Please join us at our Parent’s Meeting on Wednesday 17th January 7-9pm in the First Floor Meeting Room at St Mary’s Community Centre, Bramall Lane, S2 4QZ. Ruth Howe will be presenting ‘Sensory Issues in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder’. Ruth is an Advanced Occupational Therapist at Ryegate.
The talk will aim to –
  • Explain the sensory system and how it works
  • To help you understand your child’s sensory system in the context of theories around development of sensory systems
  • To discuss and demonstrate practice ideas
  • To have a chance to ask questions and share ideas
New members welcome, register on the night to become a member of ACCT. Refreshments provided.
