Teenager Club Swimming Trip

On Wednesday November 21st ACCT Youth Club are going swimming at Ponds Forge. This is a staffed trip, so parents/carers do not need to attend.

We are meeting at 5.15pm in the main reception area at Ponds Forge. We will be finished at around 7.30pm.

Please ensure your child brings appropriate swimwear, a towel and £1 for a locker. If your child will need any assistance getting ready before and after swimming, please speak to Emma. Please note, this trip will have the same staffing levels of teenager club, so unfortunately we are not able to support children on this activity who are not reasonable swimmers.

It is essential to book your child onto this activity if they wish to attend, as place are limited.

To book, speak to Emma at Youth Club or contact her on 07527 824034. You will then need to complete a consent form for the trip, and if relevant, provide additional medical information.

Booking a place at Teenager Club

Youth Club is becoming really popular and it’s great to see so many young people enjoying the activities!

Up until now we have been able to welcome everyone who turns up on the day but as Youth Club has become more popular we will need to introduce a booking system.  This is to ensure that we meet out health and safety conditions and have enough staff to run the sessions.

From the next Youth Club session on Wednesday 14th November please could you book a places for your child(ren) to come to Acctivate so we can keep track of numbers?

You can book a place at the previous Youth Club, or by ringing or texting Emma on 07527 824034.   If Emma is not available please leave a message with:

  • your name
  • number
  • the names of the children who would like to come to the next Youth Club.

Emma will call you back to confirm places for the next session.

If you book a place and then find you can’t come to the session, please let Emma know as soon as possible. We appreciate that some children decide at the last minute whether they would like to come to Youth Club, if this is the case, please either book a place then cancel it, or ring on Wednesday to find out if there are places available.

If you come to a session without booking, your child may be able to stay if there are spaces available.  However, if there are not spaces available we will unfortunately have to turn you away.

We hope that this new system will help us manage Youth Club and that young people will be able to come as often as they want to.  If you have any questions about the new booking system, please speak to Emma.

We would love to be able to offer Youth Club every week but unfortunately we do not have the funding to do so.
