Funders and Supporters

All of us at ACCT are really grateful to the wide range of supporters and donors who fund our activities each year.

Sheffield City Council has been ACCT’s major funder for several years and we are very pleased to still be delivering Acctivate and Teenage Clubs places to autistic children and young people through the Special Needs Inclusion Playcare Service.

BBC Children in Need fund ACCT’s online gaming groups via a Next Steps grant. The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust support ACCT Academy Football sessions. The Garfield Weston Foundation provide much-needed core support to our children and young people’s activities. And a National Lottery Awards for All grant supports our ACCTing Out young adults group and our developing partnership work with autistic adults group The A Team.

We are very happy to have the support of a number of trusts locally including the Sheffield Town Trust and Cutler’s Company Charitable Trust.

And ACCT members and the wider community in Sheffield are very generous supporters and donors and we hope we repay this by making good use of every pound given to ACCT by delivering fun and supportive activities for autistic children and young people, young adults, parent-carers and families.
