Sponsored events and fundraising for ACCT

We are very grateful to all those members and supporters who fundraise for ACCT in all sorts of ways, from asking for sponsorship towards a race or some other sporting challenge, to cake sales or gameathons or lots of other things.

So, if you’re thinking of doing something to raise funding for ACCT, thank you! We really appreciate it.

Runners could raise money for ACCT by collecting sponsorship the Sheffield Half Marathon, Sheffield 10k or any other organised race, as well as setting your own challenge. Same goes for walkers, swimmers, cyclists, triathletes and more!

JustGiving make it easy to set up a page for your challenge. ACCT are on there at https://www.justgiving.com/acct

There are lots of other fundraising events, challenges and activities.

A local health conference raised money for ACCT, a young person held a cake stall at a school event, a University society ran a 24 hour gameathon. A local choir held a fundraising singing event. There have been yard sales and eBay clearouts that have raised money for ACCT, garden parties, sponsorship for completing Dry January, and all sorts really.

Then of course there’s extreme challenges – we’re talking abseils, bungee jumps, parachute jumps. If you’re a thrill-seeker and fancy raising some sponsorship for ACCT while you’re at it, thank you – and good luck!

If you need any information or support from ACCT to help with your idea or your fundraising, please get in touch: enquiries@acctsheffield.org.uk

And please let us know when you’re fundraising for ACCT – we love to hear about all the things our supporters do, and we’d love to share your photos and successes on social media.

Thank you so much for supporting ACCT. As well as donating money towards ACCT, there are other ways of offering support to help raise the money ACCT needs to keep helping autistic children and young people – please see this page for more information.
